Album information: The first six songs were written and recorded by Lee Paxton. "Wild Mountain Thyme" and "I Hear A Voice Calling" are traditional folk songs, and "Obama's Black (Hey La, Hey La)" is a parody of the song "My Boyfriend's Back", which was a 1963 hit by The Angels. "The Seas and Sands of Time" is from a melody Lee heard in a dream on September 20, 2008. Songs 7 through 16 were written and recorded by Poopy Souls. The songs of Poopy Souls contain lyrics which may not be suitable for children, prudes, or any fairly sensible or sensitive human beings. Poopy Souls is a raunchy, degenerate, drunken hobo, bum, hoodlum country bluesman who tells it like it is for all the people out there who enjoy such raunchy songs and antics. "In The Gyne" was written to the tune of the traditional folk song "In The Pines." "The Ballad of John Holmes" was written to the tune of the traditional folk song "John Hardy". All songs © 2008 SassJoy Records * Note: A few earlier copies of the album may contain the song Dirty Old Woman and Dirty Old Man rather than two other songs which were added to the final version of the album. The song order also differed slightly from the final release presented here.
